When all the world's a stage, it's nice to get in a little practice now and then.

At our Audition Workshops we share a short synopsis of the script or libretto, as well as the general "audition process" and the skills needed.

We'll let you know what to expect at the Aloha Theatre audition, including:

• how to talk to the production team,
• what to wear and what NOT to wear,
• how and what to prepare for the audition, and
• how to enjoy yourself and offer the best audition you can!

About the Show:

Aloha Attire is a play written by Hawaiian playwright Lee Cataluna. It follows the story of a teen girl finding a box of her mother’s old things in the attic and as she goes through and picks out items the audience sees the story behind each article of clothing, pair of shoes, or piece of jewelry. It explores timely and challenging issues around cultural traditions being passed between generations, facing and healing from sexual abuse, and the dynamics between families.

Tech: 7/20/24

Performances: August 2nd - August 18th
